With the development of technologies ranging from mainframes to smart phone, from oriented object
to oriented service, from physical to virtualized infrastructure, Cloud computing has become the newest
technology for distributed communication. In principle, this technology collects many technologies in
one. In cloud computing paradigm, hardware, software and infrastructure become dealt as a service. It
is ideally suited for a variety of application domains: distributed games, email provider, data sharing.
This technology poses many challenges; including heterogeneity of the network, virtualization, security.
To address these challenges, testing becomes a critical and vital step. The most important reasons for
testing is to guarantee the satisfaction both of the cloud client and the cloud provider. There are
however several issues that must be addressed before such a service can actually be implemented for
the cloud computing. Area of concentration: Qos monitoring and QoS testing in distributed systems such as publish/subscribe systems, cloud computing systems
